OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM POLICY

SMART LIFE S.A.S., as a company specialized in the design, installation, and support of audio, video, and automation solutions, serving the educational, corporate, and residential sectors, declares its commitment to environmental protection and to promoting the physical, mental, and social well-being of its employees. The organization carries out activities at its different workplaces and projects, with the participation of employees, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other interested parties.
In accordance with the above, SMART LIFE S.A.S. implements, maintains, and continuously improves its Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Management System (SG-SSTA) through hazard identification, risk assessment and evaluation, determination and implementation of controls, as well as the identification of environmental aspects and assessment of environmental impacts, seeking to prevent personal injuries, occupational diseases, property damage, incidents, and socio-environmental impacts.
SMART LIFE S.A.S. is committed to:
- Complying with applicable legislation, legal requirements, and other requirements to which the organization subscribes regarding Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental Management.
- Identifying hazards, assessing and evaluating risks, and determining, implementing, and verifying the necessary controls, prioritizing the prevention of personal injuries, occupational diseases, property damage, and events that may affect people, processes, or the environment.
- Preventing and controlling environmental impacts associated with its activities by promoting the responsible use of resources, pollution prevention, and environmental protection, while considering potential socio-environmental impacts.
- Allocating the human, technical, technological, and financial resources necessary for the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the SG-SSTA, according to the organization’s needs and priorities.
- Promoting consultation, participation, and shared responsibility among employees and their representatives, including the Joint Occupational Safety and Health Committee (COPASST) or the Occupational Safety and Health Representative, in the planning, implementation, monitoring, and improvement activities of the SG-SSTA.
- Requiring and promoting compliance with Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental Management guidelines by suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors, according to the risks, environmental aspects, and requirements applicable to the contracted activities.
- Fostering a culture of prevention, self-care, respect, environmental stewardship, and shared responsibility at all levels of the organization.
- Implementing actions to prevent occupational accidents, occupational diseases, incidents, property damage, and socio-environmental impacts, as well as to manage emergencies and provide timely responses to situations that may affect people or the environment.
- Maintaining mechanisms for monitoring, measuring, analyzing, and evaluating SG-SSTA performance, using the results to establish improvement actions.
- Ensuring the continuous improvement of the SG-SSTA and reviewing this policy at least once a year, or earlier whenever significant changes occur in the organization, processes, applicable requirements, or operating conditions.
This policy applies to all workplaces and to all direct and indirect employees of SMART LIFE S.A.S., regardless of their type of employment or contractual relationship. It also includes contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other interested parties who perform activities on behalf of the organization or at its facilities/projects.
The policy shall be published and made available through the internal communication channels defined by the organization and shall be communicated through induction, re-induction, training, and other communication activities. The participation of the COPASST in its communication and monitoring shall be ensured, seeking to ensure that employees know, understand, and apply the commitments established herein.
SMART LIFE S.A.S. guarantees the support of Top Management for compliance with this policy and for the allocation of the necessary resources. Compliance with this policy is the responsibility of all levels of the organization and of interested parties under its control or influence, within the scope of the SG-SSTA.
The organization shall retain evidence of the publication, communication, consultation, and understanding of this policy, including records of induction, re-induction, training, internal communications, and COPASST participation, as applicable.
This policy was reviewed and updated on August 12, 2026. The approval and signature of the Legal Representative shall be retained as evidence of Top Management’s commitment.
