SMART LIFE S.A.S. hereby establishes the following Industrial Hygiene and Safety Regulations, which are mandatory for its employees, contractors, subcontractors, apprentices, interns, visitors, and other persons who carry out activities at its facilities or at locations where the company performs activities, in accordance with the scope defined by the SG-SST.
ARTICLE 1. PURPOSE AND COMMITMENT. SMART LIFE S.A.S. is committed to complying with current Occupational Safety and Health regulations, preventing occupational accidents and diseases, protecting the physical and mental integrity of individuals, and maintaining safe and healthy working conditions. Management shall be carried out through the SG-SST, with a continuous improvement approach and the participation of employees and other relevant parties.
ARTICLE 2. COPASST. The company shall promote and guarantee the establishment, election, operation, and participation of the Joint Occupational Safety and Health Committee (COPASST), in accordance with Resolution 2013 of 1986, Decree 1295 of 1994, Decree 1072 of 2015, and other provisions that modify, add to, or replace them. The COPASST shall participate in the corresponding promotion, prevention, inspection, investigation, and monitoring activities.
ARTICLE 3. RESOURCES AND SG-SST. SMART LIFE S.A.S. shall allocate the human, technical, physical, and financial resources necessary to implement, maintain, evaluate, and improve the SG-SST, in accordance with Law 1562 of 2012, Decree 1072 of 2015, Resolution 0312 of 2019, and other applicable regulations. The SG-SST shall include, among other elements, hazard identification, risk assessment and evaluation, establishment of controls, training, health surveillance, emergency preparedness and response, contractor management, incident and accident investigation, auditing, and improvement actions.
ARTICLE 4. HAZARD IDENTIFICATION. Existing hazards and risks are listed in the table contained in these regulations and shall be managed in accordance with the current hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk evaluation matrix. This identification shall be reviewed and updated whenever working conditions, processes, facilities, equipment, activities, locations where activities are performed change, or when accidents, incidents, or regulatory changes occur.
PARAGRAPH. To prevent occupational accidents and diseases, the company shall apply the hierarchy of controls: elimination, substitution, engineering controls, administrative controls/signage, and, as the last control measure, personal and collective protective equipment. Controls shall be known, implemented, verified, and maintained.
ARTICLE 5. EMPLOYER’S OBLIGATIONS. The company shall guarantee, among other obligations: hazard identification and control; training and induction/re-induction; provision, replacement, maintenance, and verification of the use of PPE when necessary; health condition surveillance; emergency response; reporting and investigation of incidents, occupational accidents, and occupational diseases; contractor and subcontractor management; employee participation; and compliance with applicable legal requirements.
ARTICLE 6. OBLIGATIONS OF EMPLOYEES AND OTHER PERSONS. Every person covered by these regulations shall ensure the comprehensive care of their health, provide clear, truthful, and complete information when required within the legal framework, comply with SG-SST rules and instructions, promptly report hazards, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions, participate in applicable training and inspections, correctly use the PPE provided, comply with safety signs and procedures, and immediately report incidents, accidents, and emergency situations.
ARTICLE 7. INDUCTION, TRAINING, AND AUTHORIZATIONS. Before starting work, every employee, contractor, or person whose activity requires it shall receive the corresponding information and induction regarding hazards, risks, controls, emergencies, and safety rules. For activities requiring training, certification, a license, authorization, or specific fitness, the company shall verify compliance before allowing the activity to be performed, in accordance with applicable regulations.
PARAGRAPH 1. WORK AT HEIGHTS AND SPECIAL ACTIVITIES. Work-at-height activities, when applicable, shall be carried out in accordance with current regulations and with personnel who meet the requirements for training, certification, fitness, equipment, and fall prevention and protection measures. Electrical activities, work involving hazardous energy, confined spaces, hot work, or other high-risk activities, when applicable, shall have the controls, procedures, permits, competencies, and prevention measures required by the specific regulations.
ARTICLE 8. HEALTH SURVEILLANCE. SMART LIFE S.A.S. shall conduct occupational medical evaluations and health surveillance activities according to hazards and working conditions, job profiles, and current regulations, currently regulated, among other provisions, by Resolution 1843 of 2025. The company shall respect the confidentiality of occupational medical records and shall manage medical recommendations and occupational restrictions within the terms established by applicable regulations.
ARTICLE 9. CONTRACTORS, SUBCONTRACTORS, AND THIRD PARTIES. The company shall establish mechanisms to verify and communicate Occupational Safety and Health requirements to suppliers, contractors, subcontractors, and other third parties carrying out activities for SMART LIFE S.A.S. Before and during the execution of activities, the company shall manage, as applicable, affiliations, competencies, induction, hazards and risks, PPE, work permits, coordination of activities, and emergency response.

ARTICLE 10. ROAD SAFETY. When SMART LIFE S.A.S. activities involve work-related travel or the use/management of vehicles or drivers under the circumstances established by legislation, road safety provisions shall apply and, where applicable, the Strategic Road Safety Plan (PESV), integrated with the SG-SST. During travel, traffic regulations and the controls established by the company shall be observed.
ARTICLE 11. PREVENTION OF CONDUCT AND CONDITIONS THAT AFFECT SAFETY. SMART LIFE S.A.S.’s current policies and procedures related to the prevention of alcohol, psychoactive substance, tobacco, and vaping product use, workplace and sexual harassment, violence, discrimination, and other factors that may affect safety, health, dignity, or workplace coexistence shall be observed. Reports and actions shall be processed through the corresponding internal and legal mechanisms.
ARTICLE 12. HOUSEKEEPING, EMERGENCIES, AND REPORTING. All persons shall maintain adequate housekeeping conditions, keep evacuation routes clear, comply with signage, participate in drills, and follow the instructions of the emergency response brigade and the emergency prevention, preparedness, and response plan. Any unsafe condition, incident, occupational accident, emergency, or damage that may generate a risk shall be promptly reported through the channels established by the company.
ARTICLE 13. PUBLICATION AND COMMUNICATION. These Regulations shall remain posted and/or available through the physical or virtual means defined by SMART LIFE S.A.S., so that they are accessible and known to employees, contractors, and other parties to whom they apply. The company may use digital means when operating conditions do not allow two physical display locations to be provided.
ARTICLE 14. VALIDITY AND UPDATE. These Regulations shall take effect upon their approval and publication and shall remain in force while the conditions that gave rise to them remain in effect. They shall be reviewed and updated when changes occur in activities, processes, facilities, hazards, organization, applicable legal requirements, or when an improvement need is identified.
REFERENCE REGULATORY FRAMEWORK. These Regulations are aligned, as applicable, with Law 9 of 1979; Resolution 2400 of 1979; Resolution 2013 of 1986; Law 1562 of 2012; Decree 1072 of 2015; Resolution 0312 of 2019; Resolution 4272 of 2021 regarding work at heights; Resolution 20223040040595 of 2022 regarding the PESV; Resolution 1843 of 2025 regarding occupational medical evaluations; and other regulations that modify, add to, replace, or are applicable to the activities of SMART LIFE S.A.S.
These Regulations shall enter into force on September 21, 2026.
